Official Communications

Winners will be contacted by a member of our team using an official McKinnon Law email — ending in @mckinnonlawtx.com or @mckinnon-law.com only. We are not affiliated with any other email domain.

Please be cautious of phishing attempts impersonating this Giveaway. McKinnon Law is not responsible for any losses resulting from fraudulent emails or communications claiming to be from us.

1. Sponsor

This sweepstakes ("Giveaway") is sponsored by McKinnon Law, Houston, TX ("Sponsor").

2. Eligibility

Open only to legal residents of the State of Texas who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of McKinnon Law and their immediate family members are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.

3. Entry Period

The Giveaway begins on July 29th, 2026 12:00am CST and ends on August 5th, 2026 11:59pm CST ("Entry Period"). All entries must be received by 11:59 PM CT on the end date.

4. How to Enter

Follow the instructions on the Giveaway entry form/post to submit your name, email address, and shipping address. Limit one (1) entry per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.

5. Prizes

Two (2) winners will each receive one (1) “The North Face Jester” backpack with school supplies in it and one (1) $50 Target gift card (approximate retail value: $200 per prize package). Total ARV of all prizes: $200. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash substitution is permitted.

6. Winner Selection & Notification

Two (2) winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period on or about August 6th, 2026. Winners will be notified via the email address provided at entry within 7 days of selection. If a winner does not respond within 10 days of notification, an alternate winner may be selected.

7. Prize Delivery

Prizes will be shipped to the address provided at entry — this is why a valid shipping address is required to enter.

Winners located in the Houston area who'd prefer to pick up their prize in person are welcome to coordinate a pickup time with Sponsor. Sponsor would love the chance to snap a photo with in-person winners to share on our social channels, with the winner's permission.

All prizes ship via UPS with tracking provided. McKinnon Law is not responsible for shipping delays, damage, loss, or delivery once the package is in UPS's possession.

8. General Conditions

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant found to be tampering with the entry process or violating these Official Rules. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries. By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor from any liability associated with participation in the Giveaway or receipt/use of the prize.

9. Publicity

Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes winner's consent for Sponsor to use their first name and city of residence for promotional purposes without additional compensation. Use of any photos taken at an in-person pickup will only occur with the winner's separate, explicit permission.

10. Privacy

By entering this Giveaway, you agree that Sponsor may use the information you provide to administer the Giveaway — including verifying eligibility, confirming Texas residency, and screening out spam or fraudulent entries.

If you separately opt in to marketing communications, Sponsor may also use your information to send those.

We do not retain your information after the Giveaway ends, unless you've opted in to receive marketing communications from us.

11. Platform Disclaimer

This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Meta, or any other social media platform used to promote it.

12. Governing Law

This Giveaway is governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
